After her husband and young son are murdered during a brutal home invasion, Christine Holloway sets out to find the men responsible. Her search brings her to Jason Walk, a weary Los Angeles cab driver and small-time numbers runner who reluctantly agrees to help. Together they move through the city’s nocturnal underworld, drawing ever closer to sadistic gang leader Brusstar and his crew. Directed by Norbert Meisel, WALKING THE EDGE is a lean, hard-edged revenge thriller built around the unlikely pairing of Robert Forster and Nancy Kwan, with cult favourite Joe Spinell at his most menacing. Shot on the streets of Los Angeles, the film combines urban grit, melancholy and sudden violence, gradually turning its damaged central characters into a formidable vigilante partnership.
