"She's evil… and not just high school evil.” A demon possesses high-school It-girl Jennifer (Megan Fox) after she is kidnapped and sacrificed in a failed occult ritual. Bloodthirsty, she seeks revenge through any man who crosses her path, but is challenged when her best friend, Needy (Amanda Seyfried), won´t stand idly by as the body-count rises. Campy, funny, horrific and truly impressive. After initially receiving mixed critical reception, Jennifer´s Body has become a horror and teen cult-classic as queer and female audiences have reclaimed the title. Ahead of its time, the film is still referenced in Halloween costumes, fan-theories, and video edits as audiences are hungrier than ever for the iconic maneater, Jennifer Check! Jennifer´s Body is featured as part of MANEATERS, a season exploring the female supernatural on screen. The season is presented with the National Film and Television School’s Film Studies, Programming and Curation MA.
